The Apartment of My Dreams

I visited a friend in Phoenixville and just fell in love with the area. I had not seen her since we both graduated from college, which was several years earlier. She told me that she had a job opportunity that would be perfect for me, so I flew out to hear the details. I stayed in her apartment, and I really liked it. That is why when I decided to relocate there, I did a search for Phoenixville apartments for rent to see if there were any available rentals in her complex.

I was happy to see that there were. Even though I would be living by myself, I still wanted a two bedroom apartment with two baths. Continue Reading

A Gated Community That is Perfect for Me

As soon as I looked at all of the amenities that one of the South Nashville apartments had, I knew that it was the one I was going to apply for first. I really liked everything I saw, which was more than I ever thought I would be able to afford on my budget. I thought I would be able to get a decent one bedroom apartment that had a community pool, but I was able to find so much more at the Melrose Apartments on Franklin Pike. One of the nicest things is how close it is to where I work, but that is just one of many things that makes this my dream home. Continue Reading

Our First Apartment As a Married Couple

When we first got married we lived with my wife’s parents. Yes, you can imagine. It was okay, but not ideal. It was only to be for the short term. I was supposed to move to a new division in my company and that would have us moving out of state. It fell through right after we got married. We stayed for a month with her parents after the honeymoon. Then we found a really nice Sandy Springs apartment. It was perfect for the two of us. It is our first home that is not the ones we grew up in. We were able to get a lease because of our jobs and we have good credit. No cosigners were needed. We are starting this journey together the right way.

I am so very happy that my wife had a very nice place to live. This place is classy and very clean. The grounds outside remind me of one of the pro golf courses. It all looks very nice. The interior of our apartment looked brand new. They really take care of this place. Continue Reading

A Hoverboard for His Birthday

When my son told me he wanted a hoverboard for his birthday, I was really skeptical about getting him one. I had heard all of the news stories about them catching on fire, but he assured me that it was not all of them. He told me that there are absolutely some safe ones that do not have the same mechanical issues that the problematic ones had, and he showed me a website to help me understand more about them. It explained how to find the perfect hoverboard for sale, and the person who wrote about it did mention the ones that were not safe and caused fires. Continue Reading

Building a Nice Home Theater

Of course this is something where you can spend outrageous sums of money. You can have a big popcorn machine and theater seating, or really expensive seating that would cost a lot more. I am not thinking about any of that sort of stuff really, but I am looking around for a nice big screen TV set and I guess I will make my decision after the Cyber Monday 2016 TV deals come out in a couple of weeks. I am sort of wondering if I want a big screen set or a projection TV. There are a lot of advantages to a projector, the big one being portability. I know one guy who has football parties in his backyard, which is nice. He has a second mounting point in his garage and it only takes a few minutes to move the projector outdoors and set it up. However there are also a number of problems with them. Continue Reading

Getting Paid to Do What I Do Anyway

I have heard of Swagbucks before, but I never really paid attention to it because I thought that it was just like most other opportunities that I have found online. What I mean by that is that most of them have proven to be scams. I would invest a good bit of time into most, but then I would find out that my effort was for nothing. I stopped doing things I would find online, but that changed when I discovered wegvy.com. This is a website that has a lot of information about things that I am interested in, like making money off of websites.

When I saw that there was a review for Swagbucks on this site, I read the entire article. I was pretty happy to see that it is actually a legitimate site, and I was able to read about the rewards program. The more I read, the more I realized that not only would I be able to make money on that site, but that I would have fun doing it too. Continue Reading

All Shows Need a Season Pass

I’ve been a subscriber to cable providers ever since I was old enough to have my own place. I didn’t even know that I had options available to me. For a while I cut the cord using only my PlayStation as a streaming device, as well as a Roku for the television in my bedroom, but once shows like Game of Thrones started becoming produced I knew that I was going to have to go with Direct TV for Colorado Springs to get my fix. While they have similar pricing and packages like cable companies, I no longer enjoy the idea of supporting those companies who are trying to ruin the Internet for the rest of us. Continue Reading
